EYJS Tournament October 6th

EYJS 2018 October 6th tournament package

Where: Dow Centennial Centre
8700-84 Street
Fort Saskatchewan, AB

When: October 6th, all Subject to change based on facility availability/conflicting dates.

Purpose: Developmental tournaments to expose the lower belt level judoka in EYJS to a tournament environment. These tournaments are also training grounds for referees, timekeepers, drawkeepers, setup, etc.

Time: Tournament setup/competitor organization 11 AM. Fighting starts 12 noon.

Judo Alberta Yudansha Grading

Where:  Red Deer

When:  December 2, 2018 Sunday

Starting Time: 10 am

Venue:  Aka Shika Judo Club Dojo (87 Petrolia Drive, Red Deer)

Go to the Judo Alberta website http://www.judoalberta.com/index.php/grading-kata/ and download the Judo Canada Dan Grading Forms 2018 excel file for complete instructions and forms and new fee schedule. The National Grading Syllabus can also be downloaded.  Please note that a Judo Canada Passport is required and candidates must apply directly to Judo Canada. The passport and Tournament Points Certification forms (effective Jan 1, 2017) must be mailed with the Grading forms to the address below.

However, draft excel files emailed prior to November 7 to gyokamura@gmail.com will be provided initial feedback.

All forms postmarked AFTER November 19, 2017 WILL NOT be accepted for this Grading. Candidates who do not submit properly completed forms or the Judo Canada passport will not be considered for grading on December 2nd. (No handwritten submissions)
